CHELSEA, Manchester United and Tottenham are battling it out to land the ‘new Ronaldinho’. The Premier League giants are all desperate to capture £15million-rated Barcelona wonderkid Giovani Dos Santos. SunSport can reveal the 18-year-old met with bosses Avram Grant, Alex Ferguson and Juande Ramos during a three-day stay in England last week.
Each club offered the Mexico international a contract but only Chelsea and Spurs have made bids. Chelsea’s offer is believed to be £10m, while Spurs have come up with £7m and regular football. United say they are only interested in taking the player in the summer and have made it clear they will not get involved in any kind of bidding war.
